ABOUT ME
I am a Chilean scientist and communicator. I work as research fellow at the Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation of the University of Portsmouth. I got my Ph.D. in astrophysics at Universidad de Valparaiso, Chile in 2018. I am an alumni of the program LSSTC Data Science fellowship (2nd cohort). I am pationed to use data to solve in a innovative way the problems of the new era of big data.
I have experience in data processing, visualisation, analysis and model building as well data catalog manipulation.
I am commited, enthusiastic learner and open‐minded.

I’m a co-founder of the outreach initiative Star Tres together with Dr. Javiera Rey and Dr. Carolina Agurto. Since 2013, we work in create reliable astronomical material that we share in different social media platform with the goal to explain astronomy in simple words.
We are the first Chilean/spanish-speaking initiative of this type led by women, therefore, as part of our goal we promote the visibility of female participation in science.
Nowadays our community is large which opened us up to many opportunities, including an IAU grant to promote an asteroid workshop in low incomes schools in Chile, and colaborations with different intitutions.
